Healing Homes, Healing Centers and Healing Hospitals
After watching the revival in Lakeland Florida it occured to us that there is a need for healing homes, centers, and hospitals. Hanah's father, Pastor Larry Reed went to the revival in Lakeland and under the anointing was able to do things he could not normally due because of the cancer. In the atmosphere he took off his oxygen, got out of his wheelchair and walked from the back of the arena to the stage where he stood and waited for 20 minutes to get on the stage to testify. The presence of God was powerful and you could feel the anointing. Upon returning home to Washington state on the following Wednesday Pastor Reed unfortunately slipped back into his previous incoherent state and passed away less than a week later. We felt strongly that if Pastor Reed could have remained in that same atmosphere of faith he could have eventually been either completely healed or healed enough to continue the battle at home. The following is a vision that we have for a house of healing:
A Healing Home/Center for terminally ill cancer patients.
It would be a facility where people could remain under the anointing until completely healed or strong enough to contend for their healing at home.
The facility would have on-site prayer teams as well as worship teams
The facility would also double as a local church offering services and curriculum.
Their would be an on-site nursing staff as well to administer any required medical needs.
There would be on-site accommodations for immediate family members at a cost comparable to local hotels.
The facility would have an auditorium for nightly prayer, healing and worship services. These services would be open to the public as well.
Their would be a nutritionist on site as well as a Naturopathic physician.
Constant monitoring of patients and visits by prayer teams and nursing staff.
An on-site cafeteria providing nutritional and organic foods only.
An on-site "pool of Bethesda" - Healing Pool.
An on-site prayer and healing garden.
Additional resources on-site would include:
A library
A convenience store
A computer room with WI-FI internet capability
A Bookstore
